Hollenbeck Invitational-RECAP
🥋🏆 Hollenbeck Invitational — ZBK Tournament Recap 🏆🥋
What an incredible day for Zen Bushido Kan Karate-Do!
We are so proud of our 27 ZBK competitors who stepped onto the competition floor at the Hollenbeck Invitational and gave it their all!
Our team brought home an impressive 17 medals! 🏅
🥇 10 Gold
🥈 3 Silver
🥉 4 Bronze
But as proud as we are of those results, the medals only tell part of the story.
We are proud of every competitor who showed up, put their training into action, faced challenges, and represented ZBK with dedication and determination. Every tournament is an opportunity to learn, grow, and discover what we're capable of—even when things don't go exactly as planned.
Winning is exciting, but growth is what makes us stronger. Whether you earned a medal, came close, faced a difficult match, or simply found the courage to compete, your effort matters. Keep training, keep learning, and keep pushing yourself. Every experience is another step forward on your karate journey!
And competition days wouldn't be possible without the people who work hard behind the scenes.
A huge THANK YOU to our 4 officials who dedicated their time to supporting the tournament, and our 3 coaches who worked hard to guide, encourage, and support our athletes throughout the day. Your commitment to our students and our dojo does not go unnoticed!
To our athletes: we are proud of you—not just for what you won, but for the effort, courage, and dedication you brought to the floor. Keep representing ZBK with humility, respect, and strong spirit.
Congratulations, Team ZBK! We are proud of everything you continue to accomplish, both on and off the competition floor.
Some pictures will be available in the gallery page this week.
